New Year – New Projects
The festive season is well behind us, and I know it can be a complex time for many. This year, our family celebrated Christmas with two ten-month-old babies, and they certainly added a little bit of magic to the proceedings! I am so grateful to be a granny! It’s one of the best things that happened in 2023. That and my first solo show, Mara, at Resipole Studios 😊
January 2024 is doing its best to be remembered as one of the stormiest on record. We also had a significant snowfall, and for a few days, we enjoyed blue skies, freezing temperatures and a snow-covered landscape, which brought a different vibe. Since then, we’ve had back-to-back named storms, which brought with them heavy rain and strong winds… some would say that’s not exceptional here in the west!
It’s great to be back in my studio, and 2024 has got off to an amazing start with invitations to show my work in three new galleries… I’ll share more information about this later in the year. Suffice to say, there’s a mixture of excitement and a certain amount of added pressure to meet deadlines and delivery dates.
I wish you and your special people all the best for this new year and hope 2024 is good for you all.

I love where I live!
